Abstrakt:

Digital story opowiada o znaczeniu memów w dzisiejszej kulturze internetowej. Poruszane są różne definicje memów, w tym jako jednostek przekazu kulturowego, obrazków humorystycznych oraz komunikatów internetowych. Przedstawiona jest historia memów, sięgająca początków internetu, ich rozwój na platformach społecznościowych i różnorodność tematów i formatów, jakie przyjęły. Wyróżniane są memy związane z popkulturą, polityką, sportem i innymi obszarami życia, które stały się sposobem wyrażania opinii i tworzenia humoru w kulturze internetowej. Omawiane są różne formy memów, w tym statyczne obrazy, ruchome GIFy, krótkie filmy wideo i wpisy na portalach społecznościowych. Wyjaśniane są popularne typy memów, takie jak społeczno-polityczne, dekadenckie i pozytywne, oraz memy ze zwierzętami. Przedstawiane są powody, dla których memy są popularne, takie jak przyciąganie wzroku, prostota przekazu, potencjał wirusowy, budowanie wspólnoty, stymulowanie kreatywności i zapewnianie rozrywki. Wskazuje również na społeczną funkcję memów, jako nośników emocji, komentarzy i wyrazu tożsamości kulturowej, pozwalających użytkownikom Internetu wyrazić swoje poglądy w kreatywny i humorystyczny sposób.

Abstract:

Digital story talks about the importance of memes in today’s internet culture. Various topics are discusseddefinitions of memes, including as units of cultural communication, humorous images and Internet messages. The history of memes, dating back to the beginnings, is presented the Internet, their development on social media platforms and the variety of topics and formats, which they adopted. The featured memes are related to pop culture, politics, sports and others areas of life that have become a way of expressing opinions and creating humor in culture website. Various forms of memes are discussed, including static images, moving GIFs, and short ones videos and posts on social media. Popular types of memes are explained, such as socio-political, decadent and positive, and animal memes. Reasons why memes are popular are presented, such as eye-catching, simplicity of message, viral potential, building community, stimulating creativity and providing entertainment. It also points to the social function of memes as carriers of emotions, comments and expressions of cultural identity that allow Internet users to express themselves your views in a creative and humorous way.
